At work I’m setting up a new partnership with underlying services on Azure. Such a partnership needs to be embedded in contracts. The operations responsibility’s and accountability’s are described in a SLA (service level agreement). With the right architecture Azure has a great SLA potential. The level’s in the contract need to fit the business needs of the service, but the prices need to fit the budget 😉 Fear can ruin the game here! To make the right decision/risk assessment it all boils down to probability and estimated damage. In a more abstract way that’s what I do setting out my life’s choices. This year I’m more a free man as in some of our responsibilities are covered. I don’t want fear to hold me back. I’ll take the residual risk. I just need the right partnership with my heart and faith. Some things can’t be mitigated, so let’s be open to failure.
