After my last post I felt inspired to take part in the mission of Gerwin & Priscilla van der Grijn in Africa as TFT member. A TFC (thuis front commisie)/ TFT (thuis front team) or in English a Home Front Team is a committed group of people who keep the missionaries visible and connected back home. They help with sponsor activities, finance and of course try to be (spiritual) friends. That friends part is important because in the field a missionary can be under quite some pressure (or frustration or.. just all the normal feelings we all have where ever). Of course missionaries need to find a local nourishing and safe place to share, but the TFT can help as well though at a distances. Today I aided someone up close, who’s outlook 2003 didn’t work anymore with windows 10. I tried some stuff which didn’t help. After running the outlook repair wizard it came to life again and I could configure it. He was happy and so was I.
Today I feel connected from Holland to Zuid-Afrika and back 😉
